phME is looking for a full time Program Director/Development Assistant

This person will work in close partnership with the Executive Director to develop and manage phME’s programming, expand and tend to our membership and enhance attendance at all phME events.  phME is known for technical excellence in programming and also a conviviality and openness to builders and architects and other trades in the spirit of equity based housing solutions, carbon reduction and education. As a small organization, we are looking for a program director who has an entrepreneurial approach to program development. phME’s other staff, board and member community look forward to welcoming a new staff person.  Objectives

  • Increase opportunities for our members and friends to come together for educational and social events

  • Increase educational programming for workforce, policy makers, homeowners

  • Increase support for phME through registration fees, sponsorship, membership and project/program specific funding

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and technical direction for phME programming 

  • Manage and oversee the development and growth of programming

  • Build community partnerships and relationships and work with donors/sponsors/members

  • Manage creation and execution of programmatic tools and content

  • Overall management, technical development, implementation, personnel, budget, and financial oversight of our conferences, sidewalks, webinars and member gatherings 

  • Oversee strategic ads and marketing plans in partnership with ED, Communications

  • This is an in-person position located in Freeport, ME

Skills Needed

  • Social, interpersonal written skills for communications with donors, speakers and members

  • Acute attention to details in the program development and attendee experience

  • Solid experience in program development, management and assessment (3+ years)

  • Familiarity with google and microsoft suites and membership platforms 

  • Must be able to lift 35lbs

Compensation

  • Annual salary $50-58k (dependent on experience)
